Actually I did not apply myself. My immigration attorneys from organisation applied from Canada itself so I guess it might have been inland.

No, its not the place of application because all applications are online.
Its more like place of residence because that decides who will process the application.

I applied for my wife's inland SOWP on August 31st, we received a validity of Biometrics correspondence letter this morning, Dec 5th (strangely on a Saturday!)

Any idea how long should the approval take beyond this point? Also, is this an 'application reviewed' as mentioned in some other peoples timelines?

I also applied on 25th august, Sowp, and i got the same letter yesterday, so we are sailing in same boat, i believe we should get decision within 3-4 days.

I got the same biometrics correspondence letter as well. And yes it means it's been reviewed. Submission date for mine was August 27th. I'm guessing since we got the letter on friday. Next week should come with approval for our work permit.

Yes i hope so, mostly i have read on this forum that people recieve decision within few days after BVL

Good to see late Aug applications being picked up. Me waifu's permit app was submitted in mid september. IRCC please be the Santa and deliver me her permit by/on Christmas.

Filed from: Online
Country of Residence: India
Applied: 18th august 2020
Biometrics (from Dubai): 19th October 2020
Medicals Passed: 29th October 2020
Approved: 3rd December 2020

now the processing queue is being cleared faster so everyone just be patient and wait.

I have received my Passport Request and have sent email to VFS Helpline on Friday but yet to receive any information about sending Passports for stamping. I think it will take 20-25 days more to get the stamped passports back and the whole process.

And indeed this week did come with my WP approved today!..yayy I'm excited. I've been on implied status since Nov 15th.
