Hello everyone.... Got the closed work permit approval today.. Applied on Sep 13th 2020.. review started on 12/9/2020 and approved on same day. My children visitor record approved as well but my husbands visitor record approval is still pending.. just shows biometrics completed on 12/9/2020 and review not started yet.

And I have a question. You did you apply your own trv with application right? We are suppouse to apply that after bowp( work permit extension) is approved. Correct ?

I believe you need to wait for the document to apply for SIN. Can you share your timelines.

Applied for SOWP Aug 8
Received correspondence letter Dec 5
Approved Dec 8
Approval email Dec 9

Thanks...yes it is extension... and i did not apply for TRV just the work permit.. sorry i am not sure about the second part of question.... i think u can apply both together.. and if approved they request for your passport for stamping.. correct me if i am wrong.

That's the question I am wondering. And even now I am not sure if I can apply for trv while my bowp is in process.

U already have a trv or u just don't need it at all?

TRV is required only if u need to travel outside Canada and come back... i have no intention on that for now

Applied in 12 October. Medical passed 1st November. (expired 4th November)
