@Annenguyen89noted thanks for this information. I was checking your previous post and you mentioned you applied for PGWP in maintained status along with OWP Extension. Could you kindly let me know if you had a Teer 1,2,3 or Noc0, A, B full-time or part-time job before applying?

July 14, SP & SOWP extension, still waiting

Maybe you'll receive it by the end of the month. I checked the processing time for the Study permit extension and it showed 158 days.

I applied on 3rd July sp extension +sowp I’m Still waiting.I sent mail to the MP today I hope he will help me.

Yours has now gone beyond the processing time. Have you reached out to IRCC? I was told that they can only escalate my application when it is gone past the processing time.

What's the status of your application? Mine is showing background check in progress, eligibility not started.
I also couldn't track my application, it just isn't working. Are you also experiencing that? I only rely on information on the GCK portal.

I called IRCC when my applications passed far beyond the processing time but what they told me was 'Just wait.'

No approval yet.(Solo application - but my spouse is in Canada too on OWP, not accompanied with my application for extension)
Might have made the application complex.

I don’t think the fact she’s in Canada but not applied with you would impact your application. I did the same and all consultants I talked to said this is the best strategy currently.

yeah, I feel the same, in finance section I have added her income proof too, fingers crossed.

Yes! Everything is going to be fine. They cannot refuse an application because of that. Keep us posted!

Hey guys has anyone who applied for sp extension in the first 2 weeks of october heard back?
I applied October 16th, 2024 with an expiry of the old study permit for 31st December, 2024. Is there a rule of thumb that they only process applications once the old study permit has expired?
