are you sure it's on 7th, cause its Saturday on 7th, I got it on 6th 12:30 PM EST and still waiting for result; Also, I read along the thread stating someone received their result 8PM EST, check onceStudy permit extension applied in Oct 13.
Received Correspondence letter - Dec 7.
It's been 3 day no final decision. Is it normally like this ...?
My friend got the final decision day after receiving correspondence letter.

I got my study permit extension approval on December 3. Due to the Canada Post strike, it might be too late to get the original permit in the mail, and I have to update my SIN and MSP as it will expire in December.
Question :
Is there any way I can go to the border with the online approval letter, tell them about the situation, and request the study permit?
Has anyone tried this?
Will they print it for me?

I got approved today, and I am so glad to make the decision to change (i had a really hard time during this month)
February 5 apply
June 20 received a request letter for additional
December 2, received a Withdrawal letter stating that my DLI did not verify my LOA (I got rejected or withdraw?)
December 3-10 keep contact with the college to get the document proving they did the verification, then send it to web form and contact the IRCC agent
December 11 check website and status change to approved

HI guys, I applied on October 18th for study permit extension... anyone who applied on similar date heard back?
Wondering how much longer it will take...
Also, can we travel out of Canada once we get the approval online? (Without study permit in hand)...
I applied on Oct 17th and am still waiting as well. I don't think you can travel because for me, my visa and study permit expired on the same date. And I think we're able to apply for the visa (the one stamped in passport) once the study permit is approved. So if we travel before that, we wouldn't have any document to enter into Canada. But i guess that depends on whether you need a visa or not? From my country, we do need a visitor visa.

2/29/24 - Study permit extension submitted.
I see the current processing time is 75 days.
I have extended my study permit on 9th August 2024 with a spousal open work permit extension as well. However, I have not heard anything back yet. I’m concerned about this as I’ll be done with my course in April and it needs a co-op permit to take internships as well.
can someone help me understand or have the same issue and took another path to know about the status?
