documents requested on Aug 03,2012 & Nov 10, 2012
started processing application on November 4, 2012.
request my passport on Jan 31, 2013

Its now almost one year since you start your application
most of the applicants of 2011 & 2012 got their visa by only 7 to 8 month is there any reason why yours is delayed like this ???

Memo2012 Am glad they request for PPR congrats I have question for u for police clearance. r u saudi national ? the reason am asking u this because if you not saudi national u cannot apply for police clearance until visa officer not send you police clearance request. I am resident in KSA but I submit my national country police clearance. So please let me know which one u submit alone with application? once again congrats

i submitted the Saudi Arabia police clearance with my file ;D

But how u can request police clearance without showing any letter? I asked them when I submit my file they said wait until visa officer send u letter for police clearance request. Thats so strange anyways how did you apply please guide me then I can apply and send to visa office Abu Dhabi

yay congrats! hope to get good news for us also!.. even though im really confused with the immigration officers working in abu dhabi... last week my husband inquired about the status of our application through MP then they said they have not received any response when they had sent a request for additional documents. The other week when the MP replied that we already sent those documents last November 26, 2012 @ 0910 pm and signed by SMF IM, they said that they are sorry that they were wrong about the reply last week and that they already received the documents I've sent and start reviewing our file this week for the visa??? Now I really don't know what to believe...

But how u can request police clearance without showing any letter? I asked them when I submit my file they said wait until visa officer send u letter for police clearance request. Thats so strange anyways how did you apply please guide me then I can apply and send to visa office Abu Dhabi

My husband is currently working in Saudi too. What we did was we sent the application with the police clearance from Saudi Arabia. You can get a request letter from the Visa Office to get the police clearance through email. My husband sent a personal email to the embassy asking for a request letter needed for police clearance for his sponsorship. They responded us though email saying they sent the request letter vial mail & my husband got it within 2 weeks.

This is the email address that we used: [email protected]
They will mail you the request letter. You need to present that letter to Dept of Foreign Affairs (not sure if this is the real name of the dept, it's my husband who did this). Then I think they will stamp the letter and then you bring that letter to police dept. I think it takes 3-4 weeks to get the police clearance..

We sent the police clearance with our application to CIC Missisauga. Then it's CIC who transferred our docs to Abu Dhabi..
