Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
I would like to congratulate you on doing such wonderful job. I have few queries regarding my husband case
I applied for his sponsorship directly from Canada last year in May 2014. Website says processing times for sponsorship is 36 months for Pakistan is it true? or should i follow London office
After 8 months i received an email from LVO asking for CSQ; Quebec selection certificate and other documents so what it means
I want to ask about the status of my application?
How long would it take more for my husband to land in CANADA ?

Were you able to contact CIC regarding the status of your application?
MY timelines are exactly same as yours. I got an AOR on Nov 29th, and then my husband's case was forwarded to LVO. My husband currently lives in Europe and he is Pakistani citizen.
Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
Decision made: Feb 3, 2015 - So far, there hasn't been any letters or emails about the decision so I asked my MP who just emailed me saying he had the response back from CIC yesterday and he's out of the office today so wait until tomorrow!
Then I asked for an update for my GSM notes and got a response back from CIC to wait until Monday, as that's when my 30 day ends.
Allah so much suspense!!! :'(

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
AOA to all,
I applied my case on Aug, 08 2014 and received my sponsorship approval on Oct, 14 2014. I received an e-mail saying that your case has been forwarded to LVO.
At that time, the processing time LVO was 11 months but now the case processing time for LVO appears to be 29 months. Can someone please tell me which timeline applies to me? and whats the average processing time in past two years.?
Regards

Interesting, i also applied for my wife in May 2014 from Quebec. When did your file get transferred to LVO? If theyre asking for the CSQ this means your file is being processed which is a good sign. You will see your ecase updated to decision made followed by the PPR. Usually takes 1-2 months after PPR to get a visa issued. What is your ecase status right now?

The timeline that belongs to you is the 11 month one. but not a lot of people get done within 11 months... it could take 12...13...14... 15... or maybe more depending on your case. I pray that in shaa Allah we all get our visa's quicker! inshAllah! No one knows the exact timeline. Praying helps a lot tho!

- passport for visa issuing was requested on Jan 14 -> submitted to chc on Jan 16

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
I'm kind of panicking and I was really hoping and praying someone could answer my question. I filed my sponsorship through an immigration lawyer and received a call from their office a few mins ago. Apparently the London visa office is asking for the nikkah nama in urdu with translation.
Since they asked, does it mean they have begun working on our file? When they request information similar to this, does it mean that a decision will be made soon after the submission? Has anyone else had a similar experience. I'm soooooooo anxious and going a little crazy over thinking all of this. I'm just trying to get a sense of the timeline!
Weird thing is that when I checked my application online, it says application received and hasn't changed to in process.
