Hey guys. I recently went on a 2 week vacation trip with my wife to dubai. I want to send a package to LVO about the trip to further strengthen "proof" of our continued relationship. What is the best way to send them the package? by mail? email through ldnimmigration email? Case specific inquiry?

Also as part of the package I have included hotel receipts, UAE entry exit passport stamps, tickets, 10 trip pictures of us at various known dubai landmarks as well as my bank statement showing various purchases made throughout the trip. Any other suggestions if I should include something?

You can send via email, CSE or hard copy in post to LVO. If the document is in soft copy but large, LVO asks you to post it to them (happened with AmyR). I recently couriered my spouses visit details to LVO.

Include a cover letter and boarding passes as well.
Add in lots of photos of yourself n spouse and few with family/friends.
Add in social media check-ins, if any.

Im really confused regarding my husband medical request by mail when I call cic they say that im not authorized to access my husband file. My husband filled up Representative form to let me access his file. Here is the email from cic

Also they had request additional documents photocopy of new passport and travel history, which we sent to mississauga in march. Please help me how should I solve this problem regarding medical and Schedule A. I will be going to visit my husband in Abu Dhabi in few days so I want to solve everything before I leave.

Have you received a sponsorship approval? Do you know which office outside of Canada has your husband's file? If yes, then ask your husband as principal applicant to email / send a case specific query to that VO and raise your queries.

Do I need a prior appointment for submitting my passport at VAC KARACHI? I'm going tomorrow and I don't know about weather I need an appointment or not

No, its walk in. However you can always call VFS helpline and ask them any questions you have.

Hi,

New member, first post. Just collecting documents for this month's submission IA.

In the new checklist under the "PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP TO SPONSOR" it says we need 2 of the following:

- Joint ownership of property or lease agreement
- Proof of Joint Utilities (electricity, gas, telephone)
- Important documents for you and your sponsor showing that you are recognized as each other's spouses (such as employment or insurance benefits)

This thread is very heavy on one spouse already in Canada. We are married for more than 2 years and have a son, living together in Pakistan since marriage. My wife is a Canadian citizen. The above documents are difficult to produce when you cannot have joint utilities in Pakistan and are living in your parents house.

Another section asks for if you cannot provide the above, provide 3 of the below:

- Joint ownership of property or lease agreement
- Proof of Joint Utilities (electricity, gas, telephone)
- Important documents for you and your sponsor showing that you are recognized as each other's spouses (such as employment or insurance benefits)
- Important documents for you and your sponsor showing the same address, such as copies of Government issued identification documents: driver's licenses, insurance policies, etc.
- Documentary evidence of financial support between your spouse and yourself.
- Other proof that your relationship is recognized by your friends and/or family (e.g. Letters, social media information showing a public, etc.)

The last 2 documents above are easy to provide but unsure about the others. I'd like to ask if there are members in a similar situation or if some experienced members have some advice on how to tackle this section. Many thanks.

1) As per my checklist in Sep-2017, we were supposed to provide photocopies of everything except for police certificate. So as we provided certified attested photocopies of all urdu nikkah nama, eng trans and marriage certificate. Please refer to your current checklist.

2) Even i dont remember reading it in the checklist but i did submit copies of my education certificate and a letter from current employer as an evidence of the info that i filled in the forms.

Its not an issue, add more photographs , chat and other proofs and explain them why you are not able to provide these documents. We have same situation and our case is processing smoothly Alhamdulillah.
