Hi,

New member, first post. Just collecting documents for this month's submission IA.

In the new checklist under the "PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP TO SPONSOR" it says we need 2 of the following:

- Joint ownership of property or lease agreement
- Proof of Joint Utilities (electricity, gas, telephone)
- Important documents for you and your sponsor showing that you are recognized as each other's spouses (such as employment or insurance benefits)

This thread is very heavy on one spouse already in Canada. We are married for more than 2 years and have a son, living together in Pakistan since marriage. My wife is a Canadian citizen. The above documents are difficult to produce when you cannot have joint utilities in Pakistan and are living in your parents house.

Another section asks for if you cannot provide the above, provide 3 of the below:

- Joint ownership of property or lease agreement
- Proof of Joint Utilities (electricity, gas, telephone)
- Important documents for you and your sponsor showing that you are recognized as each other's spouses (such as employment or insurance benefits)
- Important documents for you and your sponsor showing the same address, such as copies of Government issued identification documents: driver's licenses, insurance policies, etc.
- Documentary evidence of financial support between your spouse and yourself.
- Other proof that your relationship is recognized by your friends and/or family (e.g. Letters, social media information showing a public, etc.)

The last 2 documents above are easy to provide but unsure about the others. I'd like to ask if there are members in a similar situation or if some experienced members have some advice on how to tackle this section. Many thanks.

Hi, whenever a sponsor is a citizen and ls living outside of Canada and sponsoring spouse, he/she needs to provide evidence of intent to return to Canada once spouse receives PR.

You can read a lor about this on this thread and the forum. If you dont provide this information on the beginning they will surely ask this later on.

So far out of 12 august applicants in the sheet, 6 have received add document/re-med requests.

How come nobody's getting any direct PPR or are people not posting here?!

Salam! My interview is in next Month....i want to ask that I mostly use whatsapp for call ....but it's history is not extracted ...rarely use regular call ....any help plz

I applied in Sep 2016 and the proof of relationship requested is different and new for me.
The new applicants can guide you.

Yes principal applicants file would not be opened yet.
When these people reach november files, then you can think of ordering.

Its very hard to believe that noo aug applicant qualified for ppr.. i think ppl r not visiting the forum very often :/
