The typical interview questions are:
- Have you been convicted of a crime in Canada or anywhere else
- Do you have any dependants not listed on the application, in Canada, or anywhere else
- Have you committed a crime in Canada or anywhere else.

Thank you for all your help when I was stressing about rescheduling my interview and providing me a lot of info at the time! I'm back in Canada now (first day back) and my interview is next week on Monday. Did our landing interview on Monday--- and husband is now a PR! Yes! The long wait is finally over. No more anxiety, haha. Now just to wait for the PR card and we can book our honeymoon travel

Application Opened: December 1, 2016
Open Work Permit Issued: March 3, 2017
Police Certificate Request: April 10, 2017 (Sent PC prior to this)
Medical Request: October 5, 2017
Medicals Passed: October 10, 2017
Eligibility Passed: November 3, 2017
Landing Interview Letter: November 6, 2017
Landed on November 20, 2017

Overall, it took a year and 5 days!

Did our landing interview on Monday--- and he is now a PR! Yes! The long wait is finally over. No more anxiety, haha. Now just to wait for the PR card and we can book our honeymoon travel

Anyone who was here a year ago, when we talked about it being "impossible" to get the inland timeline from 26 months to 12? Remember those days?

Sure, some were slowed because of other factors. I accept that. But, when we started, the web said 26 months. My wife landed at 13 months (because of a snafu with her up-front medical needing to be redone). 13 months is the time it would have taken to do outland (or, that was the posted time). That's half of 26 months they stated it would take. Now we are seeing ~12 months. I think they will be able to keep their promise!

EDIT: TECHNICALLY, the AOR date was May 13, and she landed May 5. So, I guess if we go by AOR, we were < 12mos.
