I have the same status. I am waiting for OWP since OCt.2016 because between Feb-March I was out of status. What is your husband status right now?

He doesn't have status too . So both of us are getting anxious about it. I guess we are in same situation right now.

Were you out of status when you applied? Did you miss a document request?

Yes my husband is out of status when we sent our application. I'm already a citizen here and i'm sponsoring him. When CIC had a system glitched last month, on my husband's account it was asking for medical but there was no message or any details about it. And then after their system got "fixed"(???) the medical request disappeared....but still saying "action required". Its very confusing...and we tried to call CIC but its so hard to go through

Am July 2016 applicant and received request for meds in May 2017 as did not submit it upfront. Been over 1 month and yet no update or news from cic.
In ECAS this is what it says:

Review of additional documents : We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details.

Have not received any request so far...

Any insights or thoughts ??? Thanks.

got the letter today. Just a recap of timeline for folks:

• Application received by CIC on May 12, 2016 (PCC was sent with app).
• AOR received June 4, 2016
• Medical and valid passport requested on April 7, 2017 (her passport expired after her application sent)
• SA received on July 17, 2017
• PA received on July 27, 2017
• Landing interview letter received on July 31, 2017 with landing date on August 16, 2017

The additional documents is a glitch. You can always call them to double check

The additional documents... was it really in ECAS or in mycic? In mycic, there were several people reporting a glitch in the system. Maybe try calling to make sure.
If you did your medical exam a month ago, you should see it as received in ECAS or passed in mycic.

If he was out of status when you applied, then no surprises that he didn't get the OWP yet. He will become eligible to apply only after AIP.
Regarding reaching an agent, indeed it's not easy, but you can get through from time to time.

Kindly advise about the certificate type, as in the university stage i wrote Bachelor as a certificate type, but for primary and secondary education i don't know what to write as a certificate type,

One more thing is the field of study, thanks to give examples for clarification,

@s!nful if there was a legitimate request for docs, they would have dropped a line in ECAS to state that they sent you correspondence. Do you have one of these on either side of ECAS?

Just include that it was primary/secondary schooling. Secondary schooling would have a high-school diploma, right? But they know that primary school has no certificate.
