Well, next couple days I would expect AIP and if your security screening is done, a DM. From what I hear, London is pretty quick as well. So, I am confident.... If not, I suspect it can only be the security screening.
@sylvain1: looks like the call is currently in progress. My employer has taken the position that they really don't care what the policy states. It's very, very interesting when they take this position -- I have to say, I didn't expect this reaction from them...

Anybody knows what is holding up the applications from early 2016? I applied in feb 2016, medical passed, fingerprints sent in august 2016, I was also a part of SPR. Since then no progress.
Looks like SPR didn't really mean faster processing.
Is this the case with everyone?

Do you mean SIR? No the spousal inventory reduction was expected to speed cases up -- but 3 months after they announced it, they added everyone's file to it.
Are you still waiting for news? If so, I would probably call and ask for a case update (or, consider having an MP do that for you).
Yeah!!!!!

We all know that processing in the order the applications were received was never a strong skill from CIC
Also, as @profiler very well said once, they promised in Dec 2016 that the average processing time of all applications was gonna be 12 months. In order to do that they have no other option but to process applications that have just being received together with older ones so in the end they will have a 12 month "average"
It's sad but true. I didn't want to believe in this at first and always complained about how unfair and brutal this process is. And even worse now since they have a political milestone to be achieved and really don't care how long one will be waiting for as long as they accomplish their goals in a way or another

In IMM1344E There is a question co-signer.
So if my husband sponsors me .
I am on a worker permit and working in Canada
Can I co-sign?
it says it has to be spouse only who can co-sign.
Also, Me n my husband are living with his parents at their home. We don't pay any rent or pay any joint utilities.
I read somewhere that we should get a rental agreement with his parents,
Can anyone send me a copy of the agreement?
Thanks
