Submitted requested updated passport on May 17, 2017 and immediately received automated reply from computer. Didn't received any email from CIC yet. Called three times (last time I called end of May) and agent told document still not uploaded.
any idea how long it will take?

That makes sense. They are keeping to the roughly 13 months. Those who have additional documents to submit, they put off to the side and continue processing from the pile. I am not really surprised at all. In fact, I bet @meaningful1 gets called up sooner rather than later.
Hi Profiler,
just received email from CIC stating that they forwarded my updated passport to the office.
I already have SA, now curious to see how long they take to give me decision. I don't have AIP and end of May when I talked with a agent he told that Security, Eligibility, Medical and Background passed. They are waiting for my updated documents.

Nope. I am only here to see my 2016's through. I made a promise, and I am trying my best to stick through it. There is too much in the way of politics WRT other "senior" members. I find it ridiculous and a waste of my time to argue the obvious with people who are clearly pompous.
Next for you could be a document request. If they don't make a document request, SA and AIP. Then you *could* be requested for interview (before AIP means relationship interview (most likely the case; not in your case) and after usually means QA interview (to double check that the process is filtering appropriately -- like a feedback loop). That said, it's unlikely. After AIP is DM (where you are told they have finished processing). Then Landing interview (this is where they hand you a confirmation of permanent residency (COPR). Then a few weeks later a PR Card comes in the mail.
one question : my RCMP was directly sent to CPC-M on May 18 by RCMP Ottawa. I don't have any idea whether they received it or not. Do you think CIC should sent an email to me for confirmation or they will sent email directly to RCMP Ottawa?
