Hello all, I don't post much here any more because of the changes they made to the site, I have asked this in a private message, but not sure if I did that correctly,
Does anyone Know of a Good Fair Panel Physician in either Brampton, or Kitchener.. Profiler liked his in Kitchener, But im not sure if Profiler is still on this site. I have 25 days left to find one, I just want a good fair one who is easy to get along with.
He isn't, and Dr Scott at http://www.imemed.ca/IMEmed/Immigration_Medical_Examiners.html is probably one of the easiest to get along with people around. $190 (if memory serves). That includes the chest x-ray and blood work (outside labs in the same building).

I just remember the Saturday evening "urgent" surgery that the ER at Cambridge Hospital had to schedule to pull hers out. That left me with a 1-month old cranky baby who was already struggling with breastfeeding for the night.... yeah we went for a LOOONG drive.

From pg 33 & 34 of CIC's own processing manual, IP-8: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/ip/ip08-eng.pdf :
" 5.32 Medical examinations The principal applicant and all dependent children must undergo medical examinations. A physical or mental condition which might reasonably be expected to cause excessive demand will not render spouses or common-law partners and their dependent children inadmissible; they are exempt from the A38(1)(c)requirement. For further information on medical examinations see Immigration Medical Exam (IME).
"
The bolded bit is what matters. I don't need to translate, right?
They basically are looking for public safety concerns. So the chest x-ray is looking for things like Tuberculosis. The blood work is specifically looking for Syphilis and HIV. if you're really worried, you can ask Dr Scott. My gut tells me it's not really an issue.
Have you ever been denied entry into Canada or anywhere
Have you ever committed a crime in Canada or anywhere
Do you have dependents you have not listed in Canada or anywhere
It's not intended to be a test -- they already know the answers...
