Security != Criminality. Security is much deeper and takes 3-6 months to complete...

Oh thanks! Is security part of the background check? It's shown "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." for almost one year on MyCIC, I doubt they even started my security check yet...

PS, after doing the medical, should I send the emedical information sheet via CSE? The panelist told me it takes one week for then to send the results to CIC...

No. The clinic submits it. If they give you special instructions to submit it, you can. Otherwise, they submit it. Security and Medical must be valid when landing. So, hopefully, he understand that he will need to return home at a moments (well weeks') notice.

Yesterday we added 10 pages.

I just read someone's notes and became very, very sad. Outlander, file sat dormant 4 months, 6 days after an interviewer told her that they would provide a request for more info or an update in 2 weeks.

What does ECAS say? When did you submit medical?

Applied on June 3, 2016. On ECAS, Decision made on sponsorship (SA email on June 12), still Application Received on PR Application.

I got medical request last Thursday, did medical last Friday, and was told they would submit it after 5~7 working days.

Nyet. You are assigned an office based on your postal code. Them's the breaks, unfortunately.

You can request to change the time, when they email you. But I wouldn't let it wait too long is all.
