I am trying to help you avoid the meeting... but great, if she spoke directly to you. Usually when you call, someone else answers and manages that type of help.... but perfect -- right to the MP!

I would just send her an email instead. Explain that the appointment time given won't work for you, and ask if there is a way you can try to get your CIC file status.... sometimes they require a consent form... sometimes not. So, you *could* try to just offer the specifics for you and your sponsor (case number, DOB, address, PPN, etc), or you could wait to see what she comes back with.
Generally speaking, if you tell her that you were unable to get the time away from your employment duties, they should be pretty accommodating.
Still No AIP/DM yet. When did you get yours? after medical exam passed.

DM letter was two days before landing interview (a week late!).
Landing Invite was an hour after DM in eCAS
DM in eCas was a couple days maybe after Medical was approved and accepted again.
Medical was April 18th.
I am surprised there is no AIP yet.... Is it possible there is, and you just haven't seen it yet? Unless they are looking to do a relationship interview. But at that point, I would be confused that you were asked to do the medical before that interview....

Done! Even a new SIN for my wife. The hardest was to sleep and wait until 9h30 to walk there. Once arrived we waited for 5-10 minutes before being called. Then about 5 minutes with the agent and it was done.
