Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

Hello Everyone,

Today May 11 in sponsor ecas I can see decision made. But still there is nothing in the my cic account and my wife didn't receive any email yet.
Can anyone please clarify what is happening?

Same thing happened to me. I got DM on ECAS and only several days, no less than a week, I received email saying there is a message in mycic account. I checked it, and it was DM letter. If ECAS showed DM for both Sponsor and PA then congrats. You will get DM email or even landing appointment soon. I say no more than 12 weeks.

We just got lucky waited a day to get it a week after dm I did some nice small talk with the ircc officer and she did her magic

Hi, I just want to ask, I'm an April applicant of last year. I'm going to my home country for my brother's wedding in June and would stay for 3 weeks with my husband and baby, who I delivered here. I'm still on visitor visa but it's multiple entry. Will that be a problem when we come back?

They're in April 2016 now. That said, Canada isn't a prison. You can leave. Just make sure you understand Dual Intent (Google CIC dual intent), and be sure to travel with your proofs. Make sure that the trip isn't long. There is no proof to say how long, but seems like a month is too long.

If the Sponsor is a PR, they cannot leave Canada.

I know cic keeps mentioning the 26 months...but it is very unlikely you'll even get close to that timeline. Right now, they are processing most people in 13-14 months. Expect to get news by mid-June or early July. And several people go from no news to suddenly SA and AIP within hours and DM shortly after. Hang on, your turn is coming!

Landed after 15 mos. Had to resent additional payment when we missed $100 for OWP. IRCC requested for RCMP clearance even though it was sent with my application. Sent a letter with documents provided.

I would recommend keeping all receipt (parcel etc.) and Sponsor and Applicants checklist on a separate sheet of paper. If you have to re-send a document (mail) keep a copy of the reciept and re-send the requested document online as well thru Case Specific Inquiry.

Med request and Med received after 3 days.

No interview and No DM letter. COPR was sent and we had to reschedule twice due to my partners holiday.

Landed which only took 5 mins.

Some roads might be rough but we always get through it. Thank you everyone and lets continue to support our fellow future immigrants.

Did you mean 12 days? 12 weeks seems too long

It's DM. Sponsors are pretty hard not to get a positive decision.

No it should be ok, as long as you didn't overstay... Also be sure to carry docs to prove you have a PR app in play, and verse yourself on dual intent (Google CIC dual intent).

Congrats Symmetry. I'm confused why they sent you a COPR... Inlands are supposed to collect those at landing..
