So, it turns out that, even if you know for a fact (and I do) that medicals have passed (I have my GCMS notes that states they were passed and accepted by a medical examiner), that they are indeed asking for medicals again. I also will be checking with our MP tomorrow morning about it, as I think this is a systems error. I will report back when I get an answer...

For now, the missus wants me to book a medical.

Does anyone know what happens with cases? Are they assigned to a specific person? I guess I'm wondering because it feels like the person assigned to my case may have gone on vacation...

Sorry to hear that, hopefully your MP will solve this issue. That would be pure waste of money to have to redo the medical.

@Profiler: In MyCIC, did it ever show that Medical was "Passed"? Or it was always under review/ accepted?

Finally linked our pr application today, worked great with the instructions..

My intention really was to link the recent application for Extension of OWP....but instead of pulling that information it just pulled the initial application for OWP that we obviously already have.

Has this happened to anyone before? We applied for the extension mid January, OWP expires in May. :-[
Truth be told I'm a little worried about the unit number I sent the extension app to in Alberta so I just want to know that they received it ... many post were conflicting with regard to which unit it should go to...wondering worst case scenario if I sent it to the wrong one. :-X
