Hey! I'm wondering if anyone knows how long it's takes cic to return an incomplete package. I feel I might made a big mistake with translating (not translating!) two documents (birth certificate and citizen card) from Italian to English and including an untranslated expired police check. I'm worried as my husbands status with IEC in Canada is invalid after July 27.
I want to
A) Find out how badly I messed up. Will this have my package sent back? It's comprehensible like French...
B) How long will it take to get the package back.
C) If it's going to be longer than 6weeks to here from CIC, what are my best routes to keep him legal to get a OWP.
Thanks
When did you file originally? WRT OWP, unless he can extend his IEC, I don't believe there is a way to go from IEC to the spousal OWP. You'd have to wait the 4 months. In that time, once applied for, the spousal OWP does grant him implied status until they decide on the package.
I've been lurking the forum some time now and today I've some good news to share. Yesterday, we've received SA and this morning ECAS is showing "DECISION MADE" on both Sponsor & PR side.

Our honeymoon was a cottage trip to a rented private island in the middle of NOWHERE near Magnetawan, ON. So remote that to call for help, you have to give GPS co-ordinates!

I have been to QC (Montreal and QC city) and NS (just Halifax). I was just there for 2 days so did not get to go to Cape Breton. There is something about NS maybe it is the proximity to the sea. I wish I could live there.
And I saw parts of BC on the show, Alone, it is so remote and beautiful. I want to visit Banff National Park.
Except Ontario.... maybe that's coming from someone who just sees it all as noise now? We always drove out east. So, as soon as you pass QC, the drive starts to change. When you get down into the St Johns River valley near Edmundston, you can start to smell the brine air. Maybe that's it?

I want to go so many places in Canada, especially Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Bay of Fundy (New Brunswick), Newfoundland and Labrador and of course BC.

You have to admit that Niagara Falls (ON) is Amazing. I am talking the falls not the touristy stuff. I want to go to Thunder Bay, Killarney Provincial Park, Georgian Bay.
She actually got a good deal she booked in may paid 750 instead of 1500 she had the whole sleeper to herself and she stayed with our cousin in vancouver she's a Catholic high school teacher at the dufferin peel catholic school board but she said was awsome my mom dad used to be a ticket agent with via rail so as kids they go on the train to east and west coast canada

Again, noise. NF is way too noisy for me. Of the two (NF NY v NF ON), I would pick the ON side every day of the week and twice on weekend days.
Georgian Bay: We did our salmon run from Owen Sound. When we got there at 6am -- the bay was dead silent. Water was crystal clear and still as glass. It captivated my wife.
There is a bay cruiser that does operate there... http://www.ontarioferries.com/en/ms-chi-cheemaun-en/ we actually were talking last night about taking the ferry for a zip on the dinner cruise and/or the stargazing trip...
