If it shows "medical results have been recieved" does that mean they are passed or will I have to redo my medical as I sent it with my application and that's been over a year now
There is no point to extending now, as it's after the expiry date. The OP is now out of status. They would need to pay the extra $200 to restore status. In this situation, I would take a vacation from work/study. Then resume once landed.
You bet. You wouldn't want your partner to jeopardize the PR by working or studying out of status. It's only two weeks, right? A new or extension request, with the extra $200 restoration really wouldn't be worth it IMHO. CIC will still allow them to land.
Send a CSE to advise them it's been sent to CPC-M via courier. Send the CSE after you send the package, so you can include the courier name and tracking number.
In the package, include a covering letter, and a copy of the original letter asking for more proofs. Make sure your covering letter states the PA's name, and the application number.

Hi Profiler/carolbd,
As you may know CIC requested RCMP to me. I checked with Ottawa RCMP and according to their
update they send it to CIC on MAY 18 and CIC should receive it till now. Unfortunately, after SA I didn't hear anything from CIC though they received all documents from me.
do you have any idea when CIC will reopen my file?

yes CIC mentioned 30 days but it was completed less than a week. According to RCMP Ottawa they received it for sure. Now I get the point why there is a backlog, these people request a doc from you and never look back to your file whether requested documents arrived or not.

They may not look at it until 30-60 days after the request. All depends on when they get a notification to return to the file. Not something anyone can tell you for sure. But they will typically check to see if they have it at 30 days...
