Hey i have a work permit as i wait for my pr and it had said on the permit apply a month before it expires and now am looking a processes time online it is saying 4 month

Yes you can apply for a month before it expires and yes processing time is up to 4 mos.. You can apply to renew your permit earlier, rather than wait for a month before your permit expire. Work permit and spouse OWP has different processing times

Have you applied for your SOWP yet? If you haven't you might wanna apply now. And you don't have to get a TRV because your OWP application will give you an implied status until you get your new OWP. Though I don't know how it works when youre still holding a work permit. You might wanna start a new thread or better yet post a question on this thread "INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015"

You'll be fine just make sure that your application is complete (signatures, no missing documents or payment) so you don't have to worry about getting your application back (after may) coz if you do get your app back then you will lose your implied status and won't qualify for OWP once you re-send your application or you would have to apply for Restoration. That was just an advice, there was few of us here (including myself) that have missed one thing. I was worried so I had to apply for a visit visa renewal the day I was about to lose my status.
