Hi all
Anybody got response from RCMP for their fingerprints? How long did they take after you submitted your fingerprints?
I got it done in Mississauga and they told me it can take 10 days to 120 days for RCMP to respond.
But CIC needs it within 30 days as per their email.
Have not received any request for RCMP fingerprints. That's a long time to wait. Send a CSE to IRCC letting them know they have been done and advise them of processing time.
If you have applied for both Sponsorship application and OWP and there were no issues with the applications being returned your status automatically changes. There is no such thing as conversion of TRV to OWP.

I sponsored my commonlaw wife and Cic received our application on July 22, 2016. I am currently employed fulltime in a manufacturing and we are currently living here in Ontario. My wife and I are both nurses backhome (Philippines). She recently passed the RN licensure and the competition to get an RN work here is really difficult. So she tried to apply in BC and was offered a fulltime RN job position. So we are planning to move to BC. My question is that If I quit my job, would it affect our application or my sponsorship approval. We are planning that she will be the one working for few months because I will be focusing on reviewing as I will be taking Practical Nursing Licensure exam between May-June. Thanks!

I would send a case specific inquiry mentioning there is a mistake in the date of birth and I would send a scanned copy of the birth certificate and/or passport to prove it.

CPC received my application on January 18th, 2016. I received my OWP in May 2016. I paid my RPRF a few weeks ago and received the request to complete a medical examination on February 28th. I have a medical exam scheduled for March 21st with Dr. Jegatheeswaran.
Does anybody know about how long it takes after completing the medical exam to obtain approval in principle? Also, does anybody know about the process of applying for OHIP once the approval in principle is received? Really looking forward to not having to pay for travel health insurance anymore...
