Don't worry about letters anymore! DM on both sides means you are done! Your husband will likely receive an AIP letter, he might also receive a DM letter (but that one is unreliability sent), but the letter you want now is the landing appointment letter. Depending on your location, it might take 1-6 weeks to receive it. Typically, the landing appointment will be for 7-10 days after you receive the landing appointment letter. So it's very reasonable to say that within the next two months, your husband will officially become a PR!

Thank you Sylvain....thought so but its good to hear it from someone who knows! We're in the Kingston/Ottawa Region and close to the thousand islands border..will see if we have to go down to TO or if there are options this side when we get notification.

There is one office in Ottawa, but CIC decides based on you postal code. I don't know if you are close enough to Ottawa for CIC to make you land there. If not, that would most likely be the Etobicoke office.

It will be Ottawa. The furthest east I have heard them sending people to Etobicoke for landings was Bowmanville.

It's going quite well! Wife's dad had a surgery and it went very well, so you can imagine that my wife is much more relaxed now! And how about you? and your wife? and.. well the one to come?

We've been pretty good thanks. The wife is a slave-driver though. Much home reno completed this summer. Little one is due in Nov, but we have seen her face already (we did UC baby.. can send link if you're interested). My wife definitely has a bump now...

Uno momento... let me dig it up. I will PM it. The package we did is two 30 minute sessions. This was at 20? 22? weeks. We have another one coming up after the long weekend (Sept 8? Something like that) when she is more developed.

Just updating to show CIC activity..
email received at 10:30pm last night - AIP letter.
All fees, medical etc were done upfront so just waiting on either a DM letter and or Appoinment letter now..

Hope others are getting emails too.
