But in the case of @JagmeetSingh046 , he mentioned like a week or two ago that his birthday is on July 14th, I told him it was the same as my dad.

Yeah they are supposed to play at the Rogers centre some time this summer. The wife wanted to go...

It's le Festival d'été de Québec (summer festival). It's quite crowded every evening of the festival. I was checking the news because they usually have to close the site when Metallica comes. They haven't done it yet. They close that site at 110k people. I'm sure they are very close to it.
I remembered you talked about your wife wanting to see them, that's why I posted that!

Inauguration jokes.... ya it's 110k people but alternative facts might affirm more!

Ah, I did not realize it would take that long for the OWP. Why does it take so long to approve the OWP when it went to the same office as my sponsorship application? I am unsure of what could possibly disqualify it from being approved at this point.

We are in a tight financial situation and would benefit greatly from myself being able to work, so I am wondering if I contact CIC of they would be willing to issue it in a quicker timeframe?

IDId you send the police check with your sponsorship in June?

I applied June 27th, 2016.

They requested additional proof of relationship, medical, police and FBI checks in May.

Everything but the police and FBI have been submitted.

I received an email today stating I have been approved as a permanent resident and will receive final confirmation once the FBI and police check have been received.

The letter also stated that I could now apply for an OWP if I had not already. I already did when my initial application was submitted in 2016.

Does this mean I will get my OWP in the mail shortly? The FBI check is going to probably be 2 to 3 months still.

Edit: I was out of status when I applied, but I don't believe that effects the OWP at this stage of the application.

They are at Rogers Centre Sunday night. We decided not this year (we have my son, and she is going to Moscow in about a month from now...and GoT starts again Sunday night). We will do it, just maybe next year.

Also, 110k people... well, that's about 100k more people then tiny-hands' little party #WayToGoQuebec!

Well, it means your wife has a sponsorship approval probably. When did you apply?

Is it recent that you see decision made on the sponsor side? That means SA (sponsor approval). If it's recent, it's very likely that AIP will come soon as well.
Anyway, congrats on your SA!

Is it recent that you see decision made on the sponsor side? That means SA (sponsor approval). If it's recent, it's very likely that AIP will come soon as well.

Thanks and how long does it take for landing from now ?? I m in Vancouver
