I've received AOR October 15 but no SA yet. Getting a little nervous since almost everyone has received it.
On ECAS I see that both Sponsorship Application Status and Permanent Residence Application Status are In Process.
I was under that impression that Permanent Residence Application Status would change to In process only after receiving SA. Isn't that correct?
Check your email this week-end for your SA (updates to ECAS and myCIC are scheduled for Sunday night, ET, while emails are scheduled to be sent on Saturday afternoon, ET also). Be sure to check your spam folder as well.
Thank you my friend. Let's see how long the PR processing will take. Good luck to everyone.
For those who are yet to hear from CIC you may consider calling them as the agents are quite helpful in giving updates. Try calling early in the morning as the waiting time is much shorter.

Yeah, they weren't very helpful when my husband tried to call this afternoon. Said they couldn't look at anything if it wasn't past the processing time, and that was pretty much the end of it. We're concerned mostly because we haven't been able to get into ECAS yet. There was heavy call volume at that time, unfortunately.

I called yesterday and they were very helpful and I wasn't past the processing time either. Sorry they weren't very helpful . Sounds like it depends on who answers the phone.

Yeah, I've definitely heard that you sometimes need to keep trying back to get someone helpful. It was near the end of the day so there wasn't much more time to keep doing that. If we haven't heard anything by Monday or Tuesday, we'll try again then.

I know you can send her an invitation to come on a visitors visa (I'm doing the same, since I had a baby 2 months ago and need my husband to meet his son). I'm not so sure about the work visa. Maybe someone else can enlighten us on that...
