September 2013 Applications

Hi All

Just received my GCMS notes today and this is what I saw:

Counterfoil Required: Yes
Security: (Whitened out)
Criminality: Passed
HIRV: Blank
Org Crime: Blank
Misrepresentation: Blank
Eligibility: Passed

Now they have started with my wife's medicals.

Few questions:
1. What does the blank ones like HIRV, Organized Crime, Misrepresentation - mean? Are they not applicable?
2. My wife received her medicals - which she can't do at present as she is pregnant. Does this mean other ones like Security/Criminality etc will wait till Medical is completed?
3. Any idea how long the checks as mentioned in the point above - takes? My wife has resided only in one country i.e. India.
4. What is this counterfoil required?
5. I can see an App status reason TFR Eligibility - what does this mean?

1. These are confidential; you can't see the results.
2. I think so, but I may be wrong.
3. Depends on the country. There is an older thread that discusses this one, where Security checks takes longer than others for factors such as high risk areas, availability of data, ...
4. It means you need a visa stamped on your passport if you are approved as opposed to just sending out the CoPR for visa-exempt passports.
5. Temporary Foreign Resident(?)

BOOM!!! got my ppr last night and my ecas status changed to decision made this morning.

Timeline:
Application received: September 03, 2013
AOR: November 01, 2013
Medical request: March 21, 2014
Medical done: April 05, 2014
RPRF paid: April 01, 2014
Passport request: October 09, 2014.
Patience is the key!! Good luck guys!

Congrats Tropicflite. When did you sent your passport for stamping? How long it takes to get the passport back? How long it took for you to get your CoPR?

Thanks Kunisha (and everyone!) I'm coming from the US so no VISA required for me and my family. Luckily I got to skip that step!

Today my three children and I landed at the Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls. For us the long journey is over with a successful conclusion. For those of you still waiting, hang in there, your time is coming soon!

Thanks. I applied on September 2013. My application reached 13 month since it was received so CIC is pretty much following their timeline.
