Is this 4 business days some random figure (or) is it mentioned somewhere? Because my passport has reached them last week and today is 6th business day already.

Average.... there are several threads around stating it is normally 4 business days...

Now... officially? There is no timeline.... the quickest I have seen 2 business days, the longest 2 months.

Yes. I am used to "Delays". Nothing comes easy to me in my life and this fate of mine makes me enjoy everything that I get in my life to the fullest

Hahahaha I wouldn't say "nothing comes easy to me in my life", your file went smoothly without any major highlights or problems... it took time as expected and now you are in the next phase.

I totally agree Again I am a human. I wanted my eagerness to be answered, my desperation to be addressed and my anxiety to be killed ASAP I knew that I had to wait at least 13 months on the day I had applied. But I would have happily taken it if it was done in 3 months "End-to-End"....hehehehehe

Thanks Kunishsa. I just applied for case enquiry. I called the number. It takes all the details and hangs up stating call volume is high. I guess I will keep trying.

From my experience, the best time to call CIC is exactly @ 8 AM in the morning. If you didn't get much help from this number, ask the executives to give you the number of CIC Agents. They should be able to help you with your queries.

I had sent my passport on 7th October and still waiting for it to come back. My return envelop is not yet activated as I type now. I am used to these "Delays" and I am now very much comfortable with "Waiting"

Small update. My ECAS changed to "Decision Made" today Passports have been sent a day back.

I contacted MP office today. When they called CIC they were told that CIC is doing background check on my application and they asked the MP office to contact them again at the end of November.
