Just want to know whats happening with CIC.

Congrats to everyone getting PR
Finally I got request for passports, waited so long, application send on 21oct.
Sharing my bad experience with UPS
Cic ask me to submit my and my husband's PCC from India and Australia, full licences history from Australia and give us only 30 days to submit. I got all the documents on the 28th day and I scanned all papers and emailed to cic and send by UPS courier on 12th March, agent told my that courier will be delivered tomorrow by 10:30, but didn't. I waited for another day but status was showing in transit, I called customer service but they told me that enquiry is open, they have lost it and can not identify location. I got so frustrated, panicked and can't even believe this can happen too . I ask my consultant to send email about lost documents to cic , he did and got reply within half an hour regarding my passport request. It is still mystery where my documents are.

Errors happen all the time at CIC, only if they knew how much stress should we go through! Good thing you got your PPR. Happy landing man!

Not that I know of! There is only one left called Khorshed, waiting on her PPR I guess!

Actually i know 1 person personally from Oct 2013, but that person is not on this forum. Got MR & RPRF since last summer, but right now is still stuck in background check...

I am sorry I haven't checked the forum in a while as I decided to get a little break

I am still waiting, and my application has been in process for almost 1.5 years.

My plan is to wait for the 2 years (anniversary) and then file a writ of mandamus.

Good to hear from you. Since it's passed the 13 months why don't you write to them or follow up with your MP?

You have no idea how much relieved I am right now! Congrats Khorshed! I'm happy for you.
Actually I celebrated my 1 year anniversary of landing tonight. So here is to yours, and hope you have a brilliant life in Canada.

OMG!!! Alhamdulillah finally your PPR came. Even I got my PPR after almost 18 months but seriously your PPR news made me more happy...When did you sent your passport to Ottawa. Mine reached Ottawa on July 30, 2015 at 12:57PM.

Whenever I prayed I did prayed for you and akil also. May God send Akil's PPR soon too.
