I had sent my passport on 7th October and still waiting for it to come back. My return envelop is not yet activated as I type now. I am used to these "Delays" and I am now very much comfortable with "Waiting"

I Sent it on 7th as well

So we follow each other again

Finally i got the email "Ready for VISA"!!!!
what an email to get, great feeling.

Question for all the seniors, do i only send my passport along with my wife, or do they even require us to send passport size photo? In the email, all it has asked for is is passport. My daughter was born in Canada and i already informed CIC and they said that she is already Canadian so there is no need to submit any documents for her.

SO do i just send my passport with return envelope or do i need to add additional documents. Please advise.

you need to put the address that it post in your PPR. Happy landing ;D

I would like to know on the Case specific enquiries. Like for ordering GCMS, the applicant has to present in Canada. do we also have to be present in Canada for this (Case specific enquiries)?

If you see the guidelines of Case specific enquiries, there was no mentioning about the applicant to be in Canada. I am sure anyone whose official timelines are beyond the normal processing times can fill this form.

Small update. My ECAS changed to "Decision Made" today Passports have been sent a day back.

I contacted MP office today. When they called CIC they were told that CIC is doing background check on my application and they asked the MP office to contact them again at the end of November.

Let us hope you dont need to wait until end of November. Let us hope that you get a passport request this week or next week.
