Well, first of all your employer has to write the reference letter, not you 8)
And yes, he can write 11 September 2012 until 'present day' or until 'today'. Or 'has been employed since 11 September 2012.
In that case the date printed on the letter counts as the 'to' date.
So make sure that date is past the 12 months mark.

Hi Toby

My application is received at CIC Sydney on 6th of September,

I realized one thing that I missed to write name and date of birth on five pictures of mine and two other family members, dont know whether that will cause a return as incomplete,

I have paid through credit card form filled with application, its not yet charged so right now just keeping my fingers crossed.

Good job..I already waited for 10 month and 11 days so withdrawing this point of time will be foolishness so i am waiting for rejectiin
