All the best to everyone for the 19th Sept draw....
BTW everyone focusing on IELTS, consider doing basic French course to increase points...It is easier than you might think....
Since you can easily search online what the schedule for IELTS this year looks like, at least in North America, it shows no test date will be held between Aug.18 and Sept.8. If next draw does not skip, then there will be no result coming out for a new test (Sept.8's results will be out on Sept.21).
Yeah I think that you're correct, first time that I am doing ielts and I thought that the test dates corresponded throughout. For example , the next ielts General here would be Sept 29th and I couldn't register for it as it was booked 2 months prior. Unfortunately, I have to wait until October 27th just to boost my crs from 437 to a > CRS.
Firstly, I would like to thank everyone from this group. Me and my husband created our profile on March 2018 and we had 437 points. During this period, it was extremely nice to hear comfortable words from everyone and to realize that there were more people in the same situation as we were.
We both had a CBL 9 on IELTS after three attempts:
Principal applicant:
L 8.0 R 8.0 W 7.0 S 7.5
Second applicant:
L 8.0 R 8.5 W 7.0 S 7.0
Score: 437
When we applied, we thought we would be in the pool for one or two months with that score.
However, each month was harder when we realised that last year's pool was not going to repeat in 2018.
After losing hope for many times and reading a lot of advices here like "try to upgrade your score" "try IELTS one more time" we decided to take the IELTS one more time in August. I took it (principal applicant) and got the following scores:
L 8.5 R 9.0 W 7.0 S 7.5
That allowed us to upgrade our score to 440 last monday.
Today, we received our ITA!
So, we would like to thank everyone here for the support! For everyone who is still waiting: we know it's hard but don't loose hope! Try to upgrade your IELTS score! I am sure we are going to see everyone in Canada next year!

For everyone who think there is no Ielts result before the next draw or any subsequent draws; IDP IELTS has introduced computer based ielts in India and some other countries where there are approx 10-15 test days each month and the result of which is declared within 5-7 days.
Almost always a Wednesday draw every two weeks. Sometimes delayed for a week. Sometimes moved a day or two around public holidays. Sometimes delayed by specific PNP FSW stream draws.
