I'm surprised that it was 441! The calculations that a few members provided making a case for 440 were really sound. I wonder if it has to do with PNP nominations being fulfilled, boosting a bunch of scores well above the threshold.
Remember that the cutoffs are not random-- they are based on the number of applicants in the pool. If there are a lot of high-scoring applicants in the pool, the cutoff will be higher, because the first 3500 applicants have higher scores. It's not a game, it's just statistics.
Congratulations to those of you receiving an ITA in the next 24 hours! Best of luck to those of you still waiting.
481 CRS and eagerly looking for ITA in the next 24 hours It was a quick journey so far, thankfully Canada appreciates skills more than luck like the crazy US H1B/ GC system.
Please be patient! Some of us have been here for years and you can't wait a few damn hours when you KNOW you have gotten in! Have some compassion for everyone that hasn't gotten it!
Ashwell, I can't say that I can understand because I sure can't. Just waiting for one draw is so frustrating and I can't even imagine what some of the people would have gone through.
I was anxious because I did not know whether I was in or not because of the date I entered the pool. However, I really wish that everyone gets in as soon as possible. I wish everyone best of luck from the bottom of my heart.
Please don't misunderstand me, I have no intentions of hurting anyone but yes I accept that I am finding it a bit difficult to calm my nerves down.
I love and respect everyone here and hope to see everyone's dreams come true...
I didn't get in this time only silver lining is that the cut off wasn't after the date of my original application so I wouldn't have gotten in even if I hadn't messed my original application up.
