Why so little difference? I'm on 468 with my wife coming along, without her it's 493!
Can someone please explain why this is like this?
Has your wife already taken the IELTS and requested an ECA?

If you drop her off your application just now you can have your ITA today and you can sponsor her later.Sponsoring is not that big a deal compared to expecting CRS to fall off to 468 which is highly unlikely IMO.

At the end of the day its both of you people's mutual decision. If the end goal for both of you is a Canadian PR which i am sure is; that is why you worked it out till here then just strategically staying apart for just a year is no big deal i guess.

Dont drop your wife wait this draw to see if score come down 2 point so you stand a great chance in one or two draw so be patient and dont do something you ll regret it after

If CIC did a couple of draws in quick succession it is not unreasonable to think it will drop to 468.
Also in my opinion it would be better to look at PNP options than drop your spouse.
