just a thought i agree conservative wants to bring more skilled work but i ll say they(Liberals and NDP) should look after international students as well and they should prioritize above the rest of the candidates we are almost contributing $20 billion to their economy and we should have some easy rules so that it could benefit international students. They should definitely put some easy rules on the students who obtain diploma and degree from Canadian institutions i am not against anyone who wants to settle in canada or applying outside from canada if the nation is developing we dont have any problem but i just hate to see that lots of work permit holders just can't find their way to get a PR and all the best to all the folks i hope there's a draw tom but i am pretty sure it will be next wed prove me wrong CIC
I am hopeful that there will be back to back draws, but I am doubtful that it will happen. If you see the draw size/frequency pattern from 2015 one thing becomes easy to observe: A progressively greater consistency in both. Sudden spikes in frequency and size of ITAs have been slowly ironed out. Hence we may see one back to back draw or a steady increase in draw size. But to expect a bunch of back to back draws may be unrealistic
I havent made a detailed analysis on the draw pattern. But what I feel is that since the LIBERALS had already set an ITA target for this year and also upto 2021 and since they will always tend to surpass the so called ITA record of 89,800 set for last year , I believe there is no other option for them other than conducting draws atleast every 2 weeks from now on. I believe an increase in the draw size will also tend to dip the CRS scores.

Hello fellow participants,
How much time does one have in order to relocate to Canada after getting ITA. I heard one has 1 year to enter Canada once ITA formalities are finalised. Any comments ?

Yes a more likely scenario is increased draw sizes. Increased draw sizes will have an effect of reducing the CRS points cut off. Based on the past pattern, that is what I would expect, a gradual increase of ITAs, with an increase of a few hundred with each draw. With probably one back to back draw by end of the year
I would be heavily against this. The reason why we are all eager to immigrate to this country because of the environment, great education and healthcare system, as well as peace of mind. Imagine if you get double the immigrants every year, it means that the standards to immigrate will become extremely low, and some people who didn't meet the standard before in this country can also come. This will then create chaos and this country will be degraded by a whole lot. By that time I believe you would wish they keep it at 350k a year
Whoever said that is just being sarcastic. But I totally concur with your overall idea. Canada is already going to the dogs unfortunately with current immigration trend.
I have a question, it is not related to PR but any insight or suggestions would be appreciated. If after the expiration of my PGWP, I am on an implied status having applied for a visitor visa. Can I travel to the US or will I face any issues coming back to Canada?
Thank you for your help!
Hoping for a draw tomorrow! Happy that Liberals have won and it will now flush out all the negativity in this group. Not sure why some PR holders are flocking in this group when all they are doing is to dash hopes!
