Hi Guys,

I'm glad to inform you that I received today (After just 3 weeks of my AOR) 2 emails from the Embassy about my medical exams and the other email to pay the landing fees before getting my visa (490$) ..
I am super excited and I will take an appointment in the hospital to do my medical exams ASAP as I only have 1 month to do that and submit the results according to the email ..
It seems that they transferred my file to Paris Embassy because both of these emails were received from Paris Embassy Immigration ;D

Congrats to you.
Your case is so fast. I received my AOR in the same time and I didn't receive anything from visa office yet. I don't know if my case is the same timeline as yours, as my visa office is different (Singapore).

I asked this question before, but no one answered me: are these 4 months to receive the AOR counted from the processing time, or the processing time starts right after that?

Processing time includes all. From deposit of complete application to CIO to visa issuance at VO.

I sent my Federal paper on 22nd February 2015 - they received my package on 25th February 2015 ..
I got my AOR on June 26 2015 ..
Since our AOR timelines are 1 week apart, this means I will probably get my medicals in a week
Anyone else has similar / close timelines ?

yes indeed .. I didn't believe my eyes when I saw the 2 emails coming from them (the Medicals and the Landing Fees) ..
But the reason why it is so fast now is because they transferred my file to Paris instead Beirut, and Paris has the fastest time line in treating federal applications (If I'm not wrong) .. so I think I am lucky .. Thank God

So, if the processing time is 15 months in Ottawa, and it took 4 months in Sydney, Nova Scotia, if they transfer the file to Ottawa it will take 11 months to be processed completely, right?

Hi David, yes right, but don't be worry processing times around 10-12 months now.

No I didn't ask for anything - they did that by themselves!
I am going this Wednesday to do my medical exams and pay my landing fees online!
