Ok your signature states AOR -which made me misconstrue your statement . Creating a profile won't be an issue ...
Thank you for your assistance!

That is not quite accurate. You can enter the EE pool however if you receive an ITA then you need to either reject the ITA or withdraw your quebec based federal application.
Thank you for the clarification!

Hi cmack & poisonapple & all other friends...I am seriously confused. Well I have this same question. At this point of time I have received the CSQ and sent the application packet to Federal along with the fees $1400 (2 adults and 2 kids) to Nova Scotia, Sydney. My Quebec application was in process since September 2011. I had applied to Ontario through Express Entry in 2015 but it got rejected as they said they did not receive my photos, which I am unable to accept till date. Anyway, the point is I am still above 400 points and will come below 400 in the month of July on 26th. I am a Doctorate in Marketing and also told that the applications of PhD holders are processed faster.
1. So my questions are, should I proceed with one more application to Ontario through Express Entry?
2. Will it affect my current application process?
3. How soon do you think the decision will be made by Ontario from the date the application reaches them?
Kindly guide.

You have to let federal know that you want to withdraw(and possibly reason why ) application which you had filled for underlying CSQ.
2. Will it affect my current application process?
What i understand is they will first cancel your federal application filed for underlying CSQ and then only they will proceed to EE application . Cannot comment on delays as i don't know their sop's .
3. How soon do you think the decision will be made by Ontario from the date the application reaches them
Federal after CSQ takes roughly 13-15 months ,while EE is much faster 4-5 months max .

Thanks a lot! Well on the basis of your answers I guess now that I have already received the CSQ
and the fact that the process is in its final stages I better not take a risk of restarting the process.
