Someone else posted a very good link. I'm sorry this happened. The test is normally done for like HIV, sphyllis, tuberculosis etc. If it is an illment that would ultimately depend heavily on their health system I can see them asking more questions. However, it's a kid and in school kids get germs etc and it's likely to be something temporary....I can envision if anything it may be a delay in your processing. However, pray that it's nothing serious and see about your kids health
Thanks, the medicals was done again and its ALL OK. Thanks for your kind words

This was not a fair comment, you should apologize.
They waited in line like everyone else for a long time...its normal that at this last hurdle and something like this happens to think of your chances....and that's what the person asked. No one said anything about leaving children behind but you....we are here to help no decry another.

So, it seems to me that your much concerned about your immigration than your kids health. If they reject your kid application, are your going to leave your kid behind. In my opinion your so dumb :-[
I will keep my comments for now :-X :-X :-X. Just watch your back!! before you post put yourself in another persons shoes and the world will be a better place. !!

Regarding the medical request, I still haven't received it (my application is in process since 1 month and they are conducting my BG check - upfront PCC).
Can I call the Panel Physician in my country to ask for the medical exam or do I have to wait for the Med Request to arrive? I will be quite busy with work in the upcoming weeks
Thanks
You need to wait for request.. it has some
details that Doctor would need to fill out your forms

After sending passport info (visa exempt, didn't have to send physical passport),
how long would CIC take to stamp the PR visa and send the documents back?

Yes. You can take upfront exam after AOR and before MR. You will need to make sure that your Medical Examiner mentions your EP# on the Medical Forms and sends it to correct Visa Office.
Here is an example:

Congrats mate. What a relief !!!!!!
To be honest, its so sad to see people who got AOR months after me have already received PR while i am yet to receive my MR.
I submitted in Dec 2015 and got AOR in Feb 2016. I have not received any feedback from AVO till date.
It is frustrating that one cannot even get a decent status update from the VO, only endless waiting and generic responses. It has been a long 6 years since i started CSQ.
I am hopeful that we will hear the good news soon.
Waiting is the hardest part for me.
