When you submit your passport, approximately how long before you get it back with the stamp and COPR?

Hi all,
We had our medicals done but it seems as if one of my kids of 7yrs can fail the medicals ( urine analysis ) he was recalled for the urine analysis to be done again, will this out come reject my entire application, or just the kid? if he fails
:'( :'( :'( :'(
So, it seems to me that your much concerned about your immigration than your kids health. If they reject your kid application, are your going to leave your kid behind. In my opinion your so dumb :-[

The lawyer's office linked their account and have sent me a screen print. The status over there is
1. Application status # We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
2. Review of eligibility # We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
3. Review of medical results # You passed the medical exam.
4. Review of additional documents # Not Applicable
5. Interview # You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
6. Background check # Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check.
7. Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
Anyone knows how long before
this status changes to background checks started / in progress

It depends on how complex is your file. The more PCC you have, the more confirmations they need to do. Also it depends on your VO. When I was checking London VO and reviewing past cases it was between 3 and 8 weeks.
And I must say that you are SO RUDE.
Everyone has its own priorities according to their own circumstances, so STOP JUDGING PEOPLE.

This was not a fair comment, you should apologize.
They waited in line like everyone else for a long time...its normal that at this last hurdle and something like this happens to think of your chances....and that's what the person asked. No one said anything about leaving children behind but you....we are here to help no decry another.

Someone else posted a very good link. I'm sorry this happened. The test is normally done for like HIV, sphyllis, tuberculosis etc. If it is an illment that would ultimately depend heavily on their health system I can see them asking more questions. However, it's a kid and in school kids get germs etc and it's likely to be something temporary....I can envision if anything it may be a delay in your processing. However, pray that it's nothing serious and see about your kids health

Dear Bajan4Quebec,
What type of medical tests CIC requires? For us to be ready when MR comes. Many thanks!

Hi es,
Thanks for the reply. But what blood test specifically? Is it complete blood count alone? Or the cholesterol level will also be tested? Thanks again!
Regarding the medical request, I still haven't received it (my application is in process since 1 month and they are conducting my BG check - upfront PCC).
Can I call the Panel Physician in my country to ask for the medical exam or do I have to wait for the Med Request to arrive? I will be quite busy with work in the upcoming weeks
Thanks
