I really depends on the visa office. I applied in June, AoR in October, second AoR in December (first time i know this happens) and have not received medical request yet. I try to focus else where and not think too much of this waiting, but cant help notice express entry candidates come after us and get PR much quicker. I am glad for all but this path started for me since 2011 and im not in canada yet....this delay is frustrating.
You do not think much about waiting that i appreciate. I am also trying the same but fail to control myself. My life becomes stagnant. My application was received by CIC at June 2016 and still I am waiting for medical request. I dont know when it will come. Respective visa office is Singapore. You belong to which Canadian visa office?
Is there any applicants from Singapore visa office? When they will start to send medical request for CSQ holders? Seeking ideas from experts
Hi,
Anyone knows please if the profession (in high demand in Quebec) can speed the federal processing for PR?
Thanks and Good Luck to all!

I haven't received Medical Reuest either. Delivery in June, AOR in September, and assigned to VO Jan 9th 2017. In land applicant.

Okay. My Visa Office is Port of Spain (POS) Trinidad also. I just received AOR so am at the very beginning. I thought POS visa was faster, from what I have seen on this forum and in posts relating to the POS office, most persons within the QSW category received PPR 6-8 months after their file was transferred, medicals had an average of 3 months after transfer.
You can check out posts under 'http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/port-of-spain-office-trinidad-and-tobago-t42874.0.html;msg423644#msg423644
and others relating to the visa office.
This experience has been very long and frustrating, I started in 2013 so I can only imagine for you who was before me. Hoping you will receive very favorable results before month ending.
First of all congrats on your AoR and secondly, thanks for the linkto this forum i didnt know existed, i Will tune in and see what some of the members there will inform me. My file was transfered to POS last december so lets see if your theory is correct that by June (that Will be one yr since applying to federal) that I Will receive my PR. Yes, its à long wait and all this time i placed my mind and this immigration on the back burner, but, as June approaches my impatience is growing daily and i wish to hear something great soon.

Once upon a time, they would have placed a code on your federal application to fast track. But now everyone has this code (130) so the only means to fast track is with a job offer.

Yes, its a long wait but if you think about it often it can make u more frustrated, i did other things to forget about the wait, but now, as a year approaches since i applied im so impatient.

Hi guys,
I need your help to explain me what was happening to my file
I am outside QSW Applicant from Jordan
they gave me a file number in 4.feb.2017 and ask me for medical test in 10.feb.2017
I did my medical in 14.feb.2017 and gckey showed passed for medical test in 17.feb.2017
Ecas showing we start processing your application on 17.feb.2017
My questions are :
Why they ask me for medical too early " just 6 days from file number " ?
Why they ask me for medical before PRP Fees ?
My office is Amman - Jordan and Friday is a holiday in my country and they ask me for medical on Friday and they change the medical status on gckey to passed also on Friday! !!
Please tell me what is happening to me
Thank you in advance

Hi dear downcart
First of all congratulations for the Aor & medicals.
I think you shouldn't be worried about anything because it totally depends on the work load the visa office has.
All the very best for the future.
I'd just like to know, how many days we need to wait for PPR when the status has changed to "Decision Made"?
