Dear Senior Members
I have a doubt. How can I have a proof of living together, if we do not have a joint bank account, or married? We are a girl-girl couple, and in our country can't have a joint bank account if we are girl-girl living together.
What else does Quebec can accepts as a proof in my own particular case?
Thanks in advance!
You could use
Items that can be used as proof of a common-law relationship include:
a statutory declaration of a common-law union,
statements for shared bank accounts,
shared credit cards,
proof of shared ownership of residential property,
shared residential leases,
shared rental receipts,
bills for shared utilities accounts, such as
electricity,
gas or
telephone,
proof of shared management of household expenses,
evidence of shared purchases (especially of household items),
mail addressed to either or both of you at the same address,
important documents for both of you showing the same address, such as
identification documents,
driver’s licences and
insurance policies and
any other documents that show you have been living together.
You do not need to include all these items to prove your relationship is real. Citizenship and Immigration Canada may consider other proof as well
Photos, telephone bills and letters will not be returned. Do not send videos or CD-ROMs. Documents such as marriage certificates and passports will be returned. However, you should send certified photocopies, not originals
Good luck!

Hi.
I will be taking the IELTS a couple of weeks AFTER the announced intake period. Will I be able to add the test scores after my application has been submitted and paid?
Without the IELTS I don't have enough points to qualify for the skilled worker program.

Hello everyone,
This is my timeline so far:
- Jan 20 : Account created on Mon Projet Quebec
- April 5 (8:00 AM) : Application submitted
- April 5 (3:00 PM) : AOR received and informed that my application is in process
- April 18 : Job validation application submitted
- April 22 : AOR of job validation received with file number
- May 12-17 : A letter sent to require official transcript and graduation diploma (which they didn't ask in application checklist) --> sent on May 12, received on May 17
- May 17 (3:00 PM) : required documents sent
- July 18 : Job validation approved
- July 20 : positive job validation submitted
I know a positive job validation doesn't guarantee to get CSQ, but let's say in God's will, how long should I expect to get the CSQ approved? Does anyone have the experience?
I also have the LMIA and CAQ approved in July too, do they help anything to the CSQ process?
Thank you very much. I appreciate all opinions and feedback. Cheers!
Hi, Dear All!
Good luck with your online application process.
I've created my account on the Qubec website but my question is what is the next step? Should I wait until 16th of August to fill the online application form or is there any other option to fill the form before this date and submit it on the due date? I've learned through the guide that the filling application for is a long process and there must be some other option to fill the information form before we submit application.
your reply will be a great help!
