Did you apply restoration as well?

Yes. I applied through paper format and it is basically the same processing time as the work permit which you could find on the cic website.

my timeline

SEPT 2nd work permit rejected.
Sept 9th applied for restoration and restricted work permit(paper application).
No updates till now.

I applied wp restoration on Augst 11.

CIC requested the following documents from me today:

• Provincial Letter of Support: Please submit a copy of the letter of support provided by your province/territory of nomination. This letter must state all factors required for the issuance of a work permit under paragraph R204(c) as per its agreement with Canada have been met. It must also identify your occupation and employer information.

• PNC: Provincial Nominee Certificate from Province of Destination

Does that mean my 'work permit support letter' and 'PNP Letter of Approval' ?

Yes, that means "work permit support letter" and "PNP letter of approval".

We are pleased to inform you that your application was approved. Your work permit was issued on January 05, 2016, and it will expire on January 05, 2018.

The document was mailed to the following address:

Hey, guys, congrats to everyone who`ve got their work permits after the restoration. It`s a long process.
My question is, does anyone had applied for the restoration after their Postgraduate work permit had been refused?
The thing is, my bf applied for the work permit within 3 months after graduation, and after 4 months he got refused because of the stupid timing mistake (which is so ridiculous I don't even want to tell). After that, we applied for the restoration and waiting for 4 months so far. Just yesterday our lawyer told us %80 that we might get refused because you can apply for the Post-graduate permit only within 3 months after graduation and it's already passed. It doesn't make any sense for me Does anyone have the same situation? I will appreciate any help. Thank you.
