PR processing for 2021

One of my friend got PR portal requester yesterday (January 26, 2022), he was February 2021 applicant, so I would say they are working, but not like December pace for sure!

Did he have dependants, if yes were they in Canada or outside

Yes, he has dependants outside Canada, but unfortunately, he was not in the "pilot program", so he has to wait for a family reunion !!

Yes, it's faster, I think now they are trying to TR to PR within a year or less due to reaching their annual target (400K PR in 2022).
Hopefully, the dependant's process also will be faster, lets's see, fingers crossed for him !!

Yes, defiantly there are movements is going on for those TR (refugees and their family reunion, International students who applied for PR) to PR files !!

I guess they moved resources to clear all backlogs on TR-PR stream before winding up.

Provided he doesnt have spouse and is 21 as per the Age lock in date on the day application is seemed completed

It is possible i know a person who was 24 year old and he got PR. You have to prove that the person relies on parents for support and cannot work etc.

I sent my pr application and didn't add any dependent. Do you think I still can do this?
