He did not do anything just send his PR application by canada post and got this email with temporary number after 3 weeks.

I applied on February and they received my application on 24th of February and 10 days ago I've received my temporary application number . I'm not in a rush and I'm not thinking about it .because thinking about it makes us nervous. The time will come and we all become citizens in 4 years if we don't die

I applied in April 2021 and received my temporary application number last week (May 2021).

We have same timeline I also applied last week of April and yesterday got AOR with temporary number starts with X.
