I called IRCC to update one minor spelling mistake in my spouse's place of birth in the tracker. Today I see there is a ghost update in tracker saying "We received your enquiry" but I don't see that spelling mistake corrected . Any one knows it will be corrected when they send copr because the agent told that they informed the processing office to correct it.
even i received the same ghost update saying we received your enquiry bt i did not raise or request any enquiry

we had a correction , I could see changes in the tracker for 3 days , and it was reflected in GCKey and tracker, and pr portal. We had also riased this via the call centre ...no ecopr yet.. so cant confirm about the ecopr

How can we talk to an IRCC customer service agent? Every time when i call , they just say that they are too busy and can’t connect to an agent. What options from the menu should I select , please tell me the number you guys use to call and what options do you select? Thanks
I used to go the indirect route. I would call IRCC and select something like the PRTD option for example, when the agent picked up, I told them a bit of history then ask if the PRTD will be an option for me. They would usually try to explain what it is then tell me I should have selected another option. Then I explain how difficult it is to try again to get someone else and ask if they could please transfer me. It worked 100% of the time for me. Just a warning, NEVER select the one that deals with abuse, that's a dedicated line. I know it's a bit underhanded but desperate times calls for desperate measures.
It took just about four years from nomination to PR for my family, it was stressful, depressing, anxiety inducing and angering at times. My heart goes out to those whose application is stuck for whatever reason.
