I am planning to resign my job but still waiting for ecopr. Do I need to inform IRCC about my job status or i can just quit ??

Seams IRCC took an ECOPR pause in the last 2 days. Maybe because they are on pressure and stress...

You're obligated to let IRCC know should there is any change in your current status. So you have to let them know before they issue you your eCoPR! Once issued, you're officially a PR and can just quit then!
