You have to do it through CIC's website. If you go on the POS's website they specifically indicate that they no longer answer to emails that go to their general immigration box. You have to do case specific on CIC's website. I know tis so weird but whatevs man ... can't argue much with CIC.

Yes that is true but then someone responds back to you by the end of the day.........

I don't know man. POS is just full of surprises. I sent mine like I mentioned earlier, at the beginning of December and still I haven't heard a thing from them :S

Does anyone know how they return your passport to you?
do they call?
do they mail?

nothing was indicated on my letter on how to pickup!

Honeybird,
congrats! I was away for a while. With regards to the passport, when you are dropping it off at the embassy, the
security guard ask you to provide a contact phone number/s. This was the case with my wife. My wife and I are awaiting a call
from the embassy in POS to pick up her passport with the visa. I am hoping that by months end she will be with me. Did you drop off
you passport already?

I couriered my passport. so i dont have any contact numbers. :(

Did you get a tracking number and have you tracked the package to see if they have already received it?

Good morning confused, wats up. How are you making out my friend?

Hey hey Canuck,

Thanks for the check up. I am making out alright, I guess. Just still hanging there hoping that something will come up sooner then later.

How are things with you and the Mrs? I bet she is enjoying the Prairie weather, eh?

people i need the link pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Hello All,
well my wife and I are at the end of this journey, today she received a call from the embassy in POS
informing her that she can pick her passport up on Monday. I am hoping that by months end she'll be with
me in Toronto. Some of you have just started, the wait is painfull, but I have to say that the end results are
exillerating. To those that are nearing the end, I hope that you hear very positive news soon, so that we
can all share in your joy.

Thanks for the advise "Confused" :):) Really appreciate it.

I have a few more questions....

-how well does TT postal system work? You mentioned that they correspond in writing. What happens if we never received the letter and there were specific instructions on what to do and we didn't even know it. Does the VO try to contact you if they never heard from you?

-in reading other people's posts, i noticed that alot of persons were submitting "medicals" after they submitted there application to Mississauga. However i was told that Medical/Police Certificate etc... all had to be submitted with the package to Mississauga. So does that mean my file may go faster? Or are these persons having to do a secondary medical? Sorry i'm a bit confused.....

-also when i contacted CIC in Canada, they said that once the package is sent to Trinidad my case number is pretty much useless as no future information will be logged on my case number. That when POS receives the package, my husband will be provided with his own case number, which will then provide appropriate updates where necessary.....is this everyone else's experience?

My biggest concern right now is what happens if his family does not receive the letter at his home address?

Boy oh boy now the grey hairs are going to kick into overdrive !! LOL :):)
