According to my knowledge an Indian PCC is valid for 6 months but if submitted late, once your application is taken by IO for his review may find that the PCC is old. That is why I suggested for submission early, at least within 3 months. Hope it makes clear.
According to EG7 guide:
"You may begin to gather your police certificates before submitting your
application to the CIO. Although you will not submit the police certificate
to the CIO, you must be ready to submit them to a visa office if your
application is recommended for further assessment at a Canadian visa
office. When you submit the application to the visa office please ensure
that your certificates were not issued more than three months before you
submitted your application to the CIO."
Hi Pooja,
I do had the same PCC from SSP office and it is valid for six months from the date of issue. But if you apply after six months there wont be any problem as they had your records with them. Usually the police staion for your area keeps the details for your PCC.
Hello Friends,
I got PCC and it stamp on my passport on 19th Feb, 2010.
Can anyone please answer me what is the validity of Pcc?.. My 120 days expire on 18 June, 2010.
Please advice/Suggest
Regards
For CHC the PCC should be not older than 90 days before application to CIO
Unless your PCC has an expiry date, which in my opinion it should not you are good.
