One question guys i know little off topic after landing I will cancel BOWP application will they returned my fees $550 as i applied on 30 Nov no processing has started yet anybodyy????

Congrats! The wait is over for you. When did your CIC profile status change to approved? My profile has just been updated to approved.
I'm trying to have an idea on when to expect my passports back cos I don't have a return tracker from Canada Post.

I heard somewhere that it will be auto-cancelled and fee will be returned.. Better to call CIC to confirm..

Thats okay.. most of them from Jan 4,5 already got it approved.. looks like the speed up the Visa processing.. Be happy..

Thank you, MettyMyde. Here are the details: PPR: 30th Dec, PP sent: 31ST Dec, PP received at Ottawa: 4th Jan, Application approved and closed: 8th January, return Tracker Activated: 11th Jan, Passport received back: 12th Jan.

so did they gave you refusal for US side? or you want to US?


and what should i do. i have US visa. so should I take U turn with the refusal slip or should i enter into US just for an hour to avoid refusal?

The road was good , you can check the conditions online before you head out .

I just flag polled , US side was as friendly too !!

They wont stamp anything in the passport, just asked me to park my car , gent into the building and wait. I waited for like 15 min , a nice lady came with refusal to enter paper (or some thing like that ) walked us out to show how to get back to Canada.

In Canadian side , they asked me regular immigration questions such as if I have any goods, then asked me to to park the car and come in.

The officer inside asked us to sign the COPR papers , he asked us to wait for 15 min , then called us back and said congratulations you are permanent residence.
Gave us Canadian flags and accepted to take a pic of me and my wife near a giant flag they have

it was a very smooth process , given that it was monday night in middle of no where , we didn even have a q to wait in

Firstly Congrats king, As per CIC processing.....they are working on the August & Sept work permit files so hopying to get back the money if i land this week as application is approved yesterday but tracking not activated yet.

Thank you, mmiirr168. But I won't do my landing before mid February. I have booked a short trip to US and will do the landing at Pearson while coming back. Hope you get your passport back soon. Thank you again.

landed in emerson border in manitoba , the whole process took around 20 min on each side of the border.

No questions were asked , Just passport and landing paper was requested , no POF , no previous permits
