Congrats - do you see a message on CIC? Or do you just see approved and the counterfoil number?

IMO no as long as you explain your situation to your employer and they understand. I suggest you do your landing right after receiving your PP, and get new SIN right after.

How did you find oit?

On CIC under final decision it says "your application was approved. Check messages below for details" and there's an added section that lists the counterfoil number and expiry date

However, I don't see any messages in the message section. Is that normal?

Congrats! Normal or not, you got your PR visa and that is all that matters

return trackers get activated after 630pm .... probably the other persons tracker got activated yesterday cuz it says in transit
