Hello!

I understand from the comments that it takes up to 5 or even 6 weeks but does anyone know on what basis do visas get stamped? Is it first come first serve? Also, does it matter if you've lived there before and have had a Canadian visa issued in the past? I mean would that speed up the process, if anyone's aware? or is that redundant

PS: thank you to those who helped me with my previous queries. I was away for nearly 10 days and didn't get a chance to log on to read any of the messages or say thank you. So, Thank you.

I submitted my passport to Dubai VFS on 06/09/2015. Passports reached the Abudhabi office on 7th September. I am currently on day 30 since my submission to VFS. Anxiously waiting :'(

Hi everyone! I got ppr email to submit my pp at advo, but I submitted my pp VFS Canada in Dubai at wafi mall on 22 Sept, status showing advo received my pp & my application is under process. Hopefully, everyone gets their pp stamped asap. All the best everyone.

I sent it by Fedex on the 14th nothing yet .... i have meet someone who got it in exactly 7 days , but he went there and asked to get his passport back ... they stamp it and gave it to him

I submitted my PPs on 16/9 personally at ADVO, was told that it will take 3-4 weeks by the staff at the counter.

i submitted my passports on 12 Sep. and nothing happening till now. Even London is not responding. I need my passport for business trips, otherwise my company will kill me very soon.

I know of a woman who also went and got hers stamped because she gave them proof on how badly it was needed and also the 4 weeks time frame has elapse.

Surprisingly they but visa on old passport but visa carrys details of new( current) passport.

Collected our passports from VFS Oman this morning. Passports were submitted on Sept 3rd. Vailidity is until August 2016.

Did you get any receipt for submission of PPs or got any date for pickup.

I also submitted and they told me to check after 4/5 weeks....is it normal?

Received by ARAMEX on Sep 3

Email the LVO on Sep 1 that I have not received passport despite its more than 4 weeks

Could you please let me know how much did Aramex charge for the return of passports?
