Hi everyone! I got ppr email to submit my pp at advo, but I submitted my pp VFS Canada in Dubai at wafi mall on 22 Sept, status showing advo received my pp & my application is under process. Hopefully, everyone gets their pp stamped asap. All the best everyone.
PP submitted via VFS Oman on 3th Aug to Canadian embassy Abu Dhabi.

Can anyone from Oman share their experience how many days it took for passport stamping?
I think I should receive it by 1st week Sept INSHALLAH.
From Oman i need to send the passport to NEW DELHI - canada visa office,. Do you have any suggestion / guidance how to do this ? I was told by local courier agents they have passport return service to Abu Dhabi only.

if u are a permanent resident of oman then your visa office should be London and not new delhi and hence passports needs to be submited to Abu dhabi .
In case you told them that you are india and now have received passport request there are 2 options , either update them telling that you are in Oman or visit india and submit passport.
I would recommend visiting india and submitting passport.

Hi Vishnuram! Even I recommend you if possible go Delhi & submit, you will get your pp stamped in 3 or 4 days or max by 10 days. In ADVO it takes up to 40 days & plus you need send email to Canada high commission, Delhi to take approval to submit in ADVO. Even I took approval & submitted to ADVO as I was not able to go Delhi.
You are expected to include a Filled in ARAMEX return slip that has a TRACKING NUMBER when you submitted with the passport.
You would use that tracking number to check if the passports have left CIC-AUH on the aramex website.
If I know CIC, they will not send email for any such thing
I understand from the comments that it takes up to 5 or even 6 weeks but does anyone know on what basis do visas get stamped? Is it first come first serve? Also, does it matter if you've lived there before and have had a Canadian visa issued in the past? I mean would that speed up the process, if anyone's aware? or is that redundant

Aramex has included a return envelope with my passports and the other papers, when I asked them to write my address on the returned envelope they said its fine, no need, the embassy will write your address, Do Not Worry.
They did not give me a receipt for the returned passport, as they said you will pay when the passport arrive here at the office.
If i did not hear anything, I think I will contact the embassy after 6 weeks from the day they had received the passport.

I was told the same thing by Aramex and was worried they didnt write my return address but they said they will call and don't write it. So, i presume it gets sent to Aramex Kuwait regardless, who then call you when they receive it. Did you send your PP from Kuwait by any chance?
